Job summary

At AtkinsRéalis Overseas - Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Structure Engineer to supervise steel-structure erection for Overground metro stations, including platforms and roofing systems. You will ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and international codes, while coordinating with contractors and design teams.

The role requires 15+ years in building projects, a strong grasp of fabrication, welding, and erection techniques, and proficiency in AutoCAD; BIM knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil/structural engineering.
15+ years of experience in building projects.
Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, bolting, and erection techniques.

Responsibilities

Supervise erection and installation of steel structures for OG metro stations.
Ensure works follow approved drawings, specs and codes (IS/IRC/Eurocode).
Coordinate with contractors, consultants and internal teams to resolve on-site issues.
Monitor construction progress, quality control and safety adherence.
Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed reports on structural works.
