Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) to support the supervision of overground metro station structures in Dubai. You will oversee civil, structural, architectural, MEP works, and interface management across construction, testing, and handover stages.

The role demands 15+ years in construction supervision with 5+ years on metro/rail projects, UAE experience preferred, and familiarity with FIDIC contracts, QA/QC, and MS Office/project tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years in construction supervision and project delivery.
• At least 5 years on metro/rail/transit projects.
• GCC/UAE experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising overground metro station construction works.
• Review methods and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage interfaces.
• Support QA/QC activities, inspections, and material approvals.
• Promote HSE, conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Assist in contract administration, shop drawings, RFIs, and payments.
• Support testing, commissioning, and snagging, and prepare progress reports.
