AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Structure Engineer to supervise the erection and installation of steel structures for Overground metro stations, ensuring quality and compliance with international standards during construction.

The role requires a civil/structural background with 15+ years in building projects, expertise in fabrication, welding, and erection, and proficiency in AutoCAD; BIM experience is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil/structural engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in building projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, bolting, and erection techniques.
• Familiarity with structural drawings, connection detailing, and construction sequencing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM tools is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise the erection and installation of steel structures for OG metro stations, including platforms, concourses, foot overbridges, and roofing systems.
• Ensure all structural works follow approved drawings, specs, and codes (IS, IRC, Eurocode).
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve on-site issues.
• Monitor construction progress, quality control, and safety adherence.
• Conduct site inspections and issue reports on non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
