Job summary

J10 Consulting FZ LLE is seeking a wellExperienced Consultant Structural Engineer to join the supervision team in Al Ain, UAE. The role is an initial 5-month contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting, with visa and payroll handled by J10.

Responsibilities include reviewing designs, calculating loads, ensuring code compliance, and supervising construction to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of experience with at least 2 in UAE build projects.
Experience supervising multi-disciplinary projects in GCC.
Solid AutoCAD and Revit proficiency.

Responsibilities

Review structural designs with architects and other disciplines.
Analyze loads, stresses and material specs for safety and function.
Use CAD tools to review structural plans and drawings.
Ensure compliance with local codes and standards.
Obtain permits and approvals for structural works.
Inspect construction and address deviations.
Specify materials and procurement methods.
Support construction teams during the build phase.
Perform quality control and structural integrity checks.
Assist in budget development for the structural scope.
Identify risks and mitigation plans.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Document engineering decisions and changes.
