Job summary

Remote DXB is seeking a seasoned Finance Analyst in Abu Dhabi to support audits, regulatory compliance, and financial analysis across the organization. You will assess new projects, monitor KPI trends, and prepare detailed reports and executive summaries.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accountancy/Finance, professional certifications (CPA/CA/CMA/ACCA), 5+ years of finance experience (3+ in analysis), and advanced Excel skills plus experience with BI tools to develop dashboards and ad hoc

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
• CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA certifications are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years in Finance, including at least 3 years in financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data manipulation.
• Experience with BI tools to develop reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Audit and regulatory compliance including timely audits and COSO, VAT, and corporate tax adherence.
• Feasibility analysis evaluating costs, benefits, risks, and organizational impact for new projects.
• Financial analysis and reporting of statements, identifying trends and performance indicators; prepare executive summaries.
• Financial KPI monitoring: compare actual KPIs against targets and industry standards.
• Business Intelligence: implement and maintain BI modules, ensuring data accuracy; create reports and dashboards.
• Ad hoc financial analysis: support Head of Finance with audits and strategic initiatives.

• Audit and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure timely completion of internal and external audits and adherence to COSO framework, VAT, and corporate tax regulations
• Feasibility Analysis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new projects and capabilities by analyzing costs, benefits, risks, and organizational impact
• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial statements to identify trends and performance indicators; prepare detailed reports and executive summaries
• Financial KPI Monitoring: Compile and compare actual financial KPIs against targets and industry standards
• Business Intelligence: Support implementation and maintenance of business intelligence modules, ensuring data accuracy; create reports and dashboards
• Ad Hoc Financial Analysis: Respond to special requests from the Head of Finance, supporting audits and strategic initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
• Relevant professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA are highly desirable
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Finance, including at least 3 years in financial analysis or a financial analyst role
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex functions and data manipulation
• Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends
• Experience with business intelligence tools to develop reports, dashboards, and conduct ad hoc analyses
