Job summary

Acino Pharma in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Finance Specialist to oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business control activities across the organization. You will drive performance analysis, KPI reporting, and strategic financial insights to enhance profitability and efficiency.

You will lead product costing, inventory valuation and capital investment assessments, while coordinating month-end and year-end closes, ensuring IFRS compliance and strong governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Commerce.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA or CIMA) preferred.
• 8–10 years experience of progressive finance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP Business One, Tagetik and Power BI is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Job description

The Finance Specialist will have overall responsibility for managing and coordinating financial planning analysis operational finance and business control activities across the organization

Key Responsibilities

Lead the annual budgeting forecasting and long-term financial planning processes Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis against budget forecast and prior year Prepare management reports executive dashboards and KPI analysis for senior leadership Deliver financial insights and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency Manage product costing manufacturing finance and cost optimization initiatives Oversee inventory valuation working capital management and inventory control processes Evaluate capital investment proposals using ROI NPV and payback analysis Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Ensure compliance with IFRS corporate accounting policies and internal financial controls Support internal and external audits and strengthen financial governance and risk management Partner with Operations Supply Chain Procurement Commercial Engineering Quality and HR to support business decisions Conduct financial modeling scenario analysis and profitability assessments for strategic initiatives Drive finance process improvements through ERP optimization automation and Power BI reporting Develop and maintain finance policies standard operating procedures SOPs and master data governance Mentor junior finance team members and foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Commerce.
