Job summary

Chain Reaction is seeking an Account Manager - Social Media to drive client outcomes and oversee cross-functional delivery. The role focuses on understanding client goals, guiding project strategy, and ensuring on-time, high-quality outputs across social channels.

You will work closely with Managers to hit targets, develop ideas to enhance account management, and maximize repeat business by maintaining strong client relationships and providing strategic input.

Qualifications

• BA degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications, etc.).
• 5–7 years of agency experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well organized with multi-tasking ability.
• Pro-active and intuitive approach.
• Creative and social-first mindset.
• Expert knowledge of social best practices.

Responsibilities

• Full Account Management process from initiation to delivery.
• Collaborate with Managers to meet team targets.
• Generate ideas to improve the account management function.
• Ensure excellent service delivery and meet commercial targets across a client portfolio.
• Coordinate with teams to deliver on client requests and timelines.
• Develop client surveys and provide strategic input for the division.
• Pursue repeat business by maintaining client contact and upselling where possible.
• Attend client meetings to showcase thought leadership and innovation.
• Ensure client information and collateral are properly processed for new clients.
• Assist the Accounts Director to ensure departmental success.
