Job summary

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank in Abu Dhabi seeks a Sales Governance & Control Senior Officer to ensure adherence to internal protocols, ethics and compliance standards across Retail Banking sales channels. The officer will monitor risk, assess functionality through regular monitoring, and implement controls to mitigate operational risks and maintain a strong culture of compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience in retail banking, governance, compliance or risk is preferred.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sales channels follow controlled work streams with due compliance and standards.
• Monitor agencies involved in sales activities for performance and practices.
• Perform checks to assess process adherence and ensure proper risk and control execution.
• Conduct periodic inspections to protect the sales environment and address non-compliance or control weaknesses.
• Design system frameworks of policies and practices aligned to sales strategies and regulations.
• Monitor KRIs and ensure accurate scoring in defined cycles.
• Conduct risk and control assessments and log actions for assigned sales units.
• Identify and close process and regulatory gaps with stakeholders to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Analyze performance and identify improvements to taxation and operational workflows in sales channels.
• Oversee lead management integrity and investigate complaints or misconduct.
• Create dashboards, process guidelines and reports on operational control performance for management.
