Cigna Global Healthcare Benefits (CGHB) invites you to join the Middle East Underwriting team in Dubai as an Underwriter. You will analyze the market, develop pricing strategies, and understand every aspect of the Middle East business to underwrite group healthcare risks responsibly.

As you gain experience, you will build innovative analytical tools, work with sales and clients to manage costs, and help increase profitability while balancing client expectations and underwriting authorities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Insurance experience in finance, underwriting, actuarial or data analytics functions.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills, SQL querying, and familiarity with Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex pricing models used by international group underwriters.
• Streamline financial metrics reports prepared by underwriting team.
• Evaluate, price and modify plan design for renewals and new business on Large Corporate quotations.
• Collaborate with client managers and brokers to meet pricing expectations.
• Manage portfolio of accounts balancing profitability and revenue.
