Job summary

Cigna Global Healthcare Benefits (CGHB) in Dubai seeks an underwriter to develop pricing strategies for Middle East group healthcare risks. You will analyze markets, build pricing models, and work with sales and brokers to meet client needs and profitability targets.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in insurance analytics, strong Excel, SQL, and Power BI skills, plus excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Insurance experience in finance, underwriting, actuarial or data analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to query large data sets with SQL.
• Experience with Power BI and modelling/reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pricing models used by international group underwriters.
• Streamline financial metrics reports prepared by underwriting team.
• Evaluate, price and modify plan design for renewals and new business on Large Corporate quotations.
• Collaborate with client managers and brokers to meet pricing expectations.
• Manage portfolio of accounts balancing profitability and revenue.
• Analyze results for trends and patterns to adjust benefits.
• Coordinate with sales and clients to implement changes and enhance knowledge.
