Job summary

The Cigna Group, through Cigna Global Healthcare Benefits, seeks an Underwriter in Dubai to analyze markets and develop pricing strategies for ME group healthcare risks. You will build pricing models, evaluate renewals and new business, and work with sales and brokers to align on pricing and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of insurance experience in finance, underwriting, actuarial or data analytics.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex pricing models used by international group underwriters.
• Streamline financial metrics reports prepared by underwriting team.
• Evaluate, price and modify plan design for renewals and new business on Large Corporate quotations in compliance with underwriting authorities.
• Collaborate with client managers and brokers to meet clients' expectations on product and pricing.
• Manage portfolio of accounts balancing profitability and revenue.
• Analyze results for trends and patterns; propose changes to benefits.
• Provide clear instructions on risk and cost-management options to sales and clients.
