Job summary

AECOM in Dubai seeks a highly experienced Resident Engineer with at least 20 years in infrastructure supervision and 7 years as a Resident Engineer on major projects. The role requires strong knowledge of DM standards, coordination with Dubai Municipality, and oversight of civil, mechanical, electrical, and utility interfaces.

Candidates should hold PMP, DM Accreditation, FIDIC Contract Management, ISO 9001 training, and OSH certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of total experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 7 years' experience as Resident Engineer on major infrastructure projects.
• Proven Dubai Municipality project experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise site activities per drawings, specs, contract requirements and DM standards.
• Act as main technical and contractual representative of the Consultant on site.
• Lead and coordinate the supervision team across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Utilities, and other inspectors.
• Monitor contractor performance, construction progress, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Review and approve contractor method statements, ITPs, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions.
• Ensure works are executed per approved designs, specs, and method statements.
