The Senior Resident Engineer will represent the Client and Consultant in supervising construction and administering the contract throughout project delivery. The position requires close control of site activities to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, contractual obligations, quality requirements, HSE standards, and applicable authority regulations. Strong leadership is required to coordinate the supervision team, contractors, utility providers, authorities, and other project stakeholders.
Provide technical oversight across infrastructure works that may include:
Administer the construction contract and provide appropriate technical and contractual recommendations throughout project delivery. Responsibilities include reviewing variations, contractor claims, payment applications, and extension of time requests. The Senior Resident Engineer will work with relevant project parties to resolve contractual matters while maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, authorities, utility providers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical, construction, and contractual matters. Relevant coordination may involve Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, telecommunications authorities, and other utility agencies required for successful infrastructure delivery.
Lead and manage the construction supervision team to maintain effective site coverage and consistent application of project requirements. Provide technical direction, guidance, and coordination to team members while ensuring supervision activities remain aligned with construction priorities, quality requirements, HSE obligations, and the approved project program.
Candidates with experience across Dubai Municipality stormwater projects, major irrigation schemes, infrastructure and utility networks, roads and drainage projects, master community developments, public realm and landscaping infrastructure, pumping stations, and water management facilities will bring particularly relevant project exposure to the position.
