Role Context

This position supports AECOM 's Transportation business line within its Middle East and Africa operations. The Senior Civil Engineer will provide construction supervision and technical coordination for complex sewage treatment, wastewater, drainage, roads and utility infrastructure. The role requires extensive GCC project experience and regular collaboration with contractors, consultants, government authorities and major infrastructure clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise civil infrastructure works associated with sewage treatment plant projects.
• Monitor the construction of stormwater drainage networks, roads and utility corridors.
• Review construction methodologies, shop drawings and material submittals.
• Assess contractor work programs for compliance with project requirements.
• Verify that construction follows approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Monitor compliance with project schedules and HSE requirements.

• Resolve technical issues and construction constraints arising on site.
