Job summary

AECOM MIDDLE EAST LIMITED ABU DHABI is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer – Infrastructure/Bridges to lead site supervision for major infrastructure and bridge projects. You will manage a supervision team, monitor progress, ensure quality, and coordinate with the Contractor and stakeholders to meet project objectives.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and proven experience in supervising large-scale infrastructure and bridge works in the UAE, with strong leadership and coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in site supervision and delivery of major infrastructure and bridge projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of bridge structures, foundations, piling, concrete works, roads, earthworks, drainage, and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site supervision activities for bridge and infrastructure construction works.
• Supervise bridge works including foundations, piling, abutments, piers, retaining walls, decks and joints.
• Oversee infrastructure works including roads, earthworks, drainage, potable water, irrigation, electrical and telecom utilities.
• Coordinate with Contractor, Client, authorities, designers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements and inspection plans.
• Monitor progress and quality ensuring compliance with drawings and specs.
• Maintain site records, progress reports, and project documentation.
