Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer – Infrastructure/Bridges to lead site supervision for major bridge and infrastructure projects. You will manage the supervision team, monitor progress and quality, and coordinate with Contractors and stakeholders to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, with proven UAE project experience and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in site supervision and delivery of major infrastructure and bridge projects.
• Strong knowledge of bridge structures, foundations, piling, concrete works, roads, earthworks, drainage, and utilities.
• Experience leading site supervision teams and coordinating with Contractors and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, specs, quality procedures, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site supervision activities for bridge and infrastructure construction works.
• Supervise bridge works: foundations, piling, abutments, piers, decks and joints.
• Oversee utilities, roads, earthworks, drainage, and related infrastructure works.
• Coordinate the site supervision team and ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Review Contractor submissions and monitor progress, quality and safety.
