Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our UAE team on high-profile projects across sectors. The role requires 8-12 years of experience, including government or major UAE programs, with strong cost control and contract management capabilities.

You will work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment, utilizing CostX or similar tools, Excel, and precise English technical writing to support cost validation and progress reporting on giga-projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8-12 years of experience, with at least 5 years on government or major UAE programs.
• Proven capability in remeasure contracts, cost control, and valuation of site-wide works.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding, particularly with variations and change workflows.
• Understanding of WIR/MIR processes and their impact on cost and progress validation.
• Strong analytical, measurement, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in measurement tools (CostX, Planswift, etc.) and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost estimation, cost control, and valuation for site-wide works on multiple projects.
• Manage remeasure contracts and variations with strong commercial oversight.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure cost and progress validation.
• Maintain high standards of reporting and stakeholder communication.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.

Your role

• Experience in one of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential, buildings, infrastructure etc.
• Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years.
• Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.

About you
