Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UAE seeks experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our team on newly awarded projects across multiple sectors and locations within UAE. The role focuses on post-contract commercial management, cost reporting, variations, and subcontractor claims, requiring a degree in Quantity Surveying, 5+ years post-degree experience, and familiarity with CostX.

Fluent English and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• FIDIC contracts preferred.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university.
• Min 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in high rise office or residential sectors.
• Consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years.
• Knowledge of CostX or similar QS software.

Responsibilities

• Post-contract commercial management including re-measurement, interim and final accounts, cost reports, variations, contractor claims, provisional sums, prime costs, and sub-contractor insurances and bonds.

Your role

Post Contract

• Commercial Contract Administration incl re-measurement, interim and final account payment application assessments, Monthly Cost Reports, variations, contractors claims, Provisional Sums, Prime Costs, Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds management, attendance of design and commercial meetings etc.

About You

• Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university.
• Min 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in one of the following key sectors: High rise office or residential
• Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years.
• Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
