Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Abu Dhabi team on high-profile UAE projects. You will manage post‑contract commercial activities, perform re‑measurements, prepare interim and final accounts, and contribute to monthly cost reports, variations, and claims.

Ideal candidates hold a Quantity Surveying degree, have 5+ years in contracts and commercial management, and are fluent in English. Strong CostX skills and client/consultant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years post-degree experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts preferred.
• Experience in high-rise office or residential sectors.
• Consultant and/or client background for at least 4 years.
• Proficiency with CostX or similar QS software.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient English technical writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Post Contract: commercial contract administration including re‑measurement, interim and final account payment applications, monthly cost reports, variations and contractor claims.
• Management of provisional sums, prime costs, nominated sub-contractors, insurances and bonds.
• Attend design and commercial meetings and related project governance sessions.
