Job summary

Gleeds Arabia is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the UAE, delivering post-contract commercial management on a high-profile mega project. You will manage contracts, cost control, and financial reporting, while building strong client relationships and leading stakeholder engagement.

MRICS chartered with 10+ years in cost management and GCC experience is essential; Arabic language desirable.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification or equivalent is required.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is required.
• Native level English language; Arabic desirable.
• 10+ years cost management experience post MRICS.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced MRICS chartered Cost Management professional to join Gleeds Arabia, responsible for contributing to a high profile iconic mega project in the UAE.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Effective key stakeholder management
• Contract administration and commercial compliance
• Cost control and financial reporting
• Delivering high quality commercial management services ensuring that services meet and exceed our client's requirements.
• Managing and maintaining quality client relationships
• Developing and enhancing Gleeds cost management capability.
• Working harmoniously with other Directors across the region
• Who we’re looking for:

Experience, Knowledge And Key Skills

• 10+ years cost management experience post MRICS qualification
• 2+ years experience living and working in the GCC
• Extensive experience in cost consultancy
• Detailed knowledge and practical experience of post contract cost management
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments
• Specialist experience of delivering mega building structures
• Demonstrable evidence of delivering services to Clients and managing Client relationships
• Demonstrable experience of timely interfacing with clients and key stakeholders at the highest level

Qualifications

• MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), or equivalent
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Native level English language, written and oral
• Arabic language desirable
