Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in commercial management within construction with GCC/UAE expertise.
• Proficiency in cost management software and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• RICS membership or working towards RICS accreditation.
• Experience with cost consultancy firms is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the delivery of cost management including cost plans and bill of quantities.
• Conduct risk and value management assessments to optimize project costs.
• Perform cost control and financial reporting to ensure projects stay within budget.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
• Apply knowledge of quantification and costing using standard methods of measurement and benchmarks.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure effective communication.
• Provide expert advice on contract and procurement management.
• Mentor quantity surveyors and associate quantity surveyors.
• Adhere to RICS Ethics, Rules of Conduct, and professionalism.
• Generate repeat business through performance and client care.
