Gleeds is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the UAE to lead post–contract cost management on a major airport/mega project. You'll provide commercial leadership, cost control and reporting, and ensure compliance with client requirements.

Ideal candidates have MRICS, a Quantity Surveying degree, fluent English, and 10+ years' experience, including 2+ years in the GCC, with a track record in mega building structures and strong client relationships.

This is a great opportunity for experienced MRICS chartered Cost Management professionals to join Gleeds Arabia, responsible for contributing to a high profile iconic mega project in the UAE.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Contract administration and commercial compliance
• Cost control and financial reporting
• Delivering high quality commercial management services ensuring that services meet and exceed our client's requirements.
• Managing and maintaining quality client relationships
• Developing and enhancing Gleeds cost management capability.
• Working harmoniously with other Directors across the region

Who we’re looking for:

Experience, Knowledge And Key Skills

• 10+ years cost management experience post MRICS qualification
• 2+ years experience living and working in the GCC
• Extensive experience in cost consultancy
• Detailed knowledge and practical experience of post contract cost management
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments
• Specialist experience of delivering mega building structures
• Demonstrable evidence of delivering services to Clients and managing Client relationships
• Demonstrable experience of timely interfacing with clients and key stakeholders at the highest level

Qualifications

• MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), or equivalent
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Fluent English language, written and oral
• Arabic language desirable
