Job summary

Compass Project Consulting in Dubai seeks a senior Quantity Surveyor to drive pre-contract cost management for major building projects. You will lead cost planning, estimating, pricing and BOQ prep, while reviewing tenders and providing UAE market-based cost analyses.

The role requires extensive QA/QC of cost plans, BOQs, and tender documentation, with strong ability to challenge cost data and report clearly to stakeholders. On-site Dubai-based opportunity.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
• 10+ years pre-contract experience.
• Extensive UAE project experience with local market knowledge.
• MEP cost management and pricing across major buildings.
• Experience with reputable PMC and Cost Consultancy firms.
• Strong QA/QC for cost plans, BOQs, estimates and tenders.
• Excellent analytical, communication, coordination and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-contract cost management activities: planning, estimating, pricing, BOQ.
• Prepare/review tender docs, evaluate tenders, provide cost analysis.
• Manage MEP cost planning and pricing for major projects.
• Ensure QA/QC of cost deliverables through reviews.
• Review and challenge cost information for compliance and quality.
• Provide cost management advice based on UAE market rates and procurement.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and prepare cost reports and technical recommendations.
