Job summary

Roads and Transport Authority seeks a senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to lead end-to-end contract controls and procurement for major projects in Dubai. You will drive cost, value, and risk management through data-driven oversight and robust governance.

The role requires MRICS/AIQS membership or equivalent, 8+ years of experience for bachelor’s, or 6+ years with a master’s degree, and a strong background in change orders, claims, and dispute resolution. Dubai-based, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
• MRICS/AIQS/AIQSSL professional memberships.
• Extensive experience in change orders and claims administration.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, dispute resolution and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial controls from tender to closeout.
• Manage contract administration and financial control to keep projects on budget.
• Prepare evaluations, tenders, and contract documents; support award decisions.
• Review BOQs, contract documents, and interim/final payment statements.
• Draft and manage routine commercial correspondence; coordinate with departments.
• Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements.
• Conduct value engineering and life-cycle cost analysis for decisions.
