AtkinsRéalis, a global engineering leader, invites an experienced Senior Wet Utilities Engineer to join our Dubai team. The role involves technical delivery on large, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects across water, sewer, storm and related networks in the GCC with emphasis on tendering, design, and field oversight.

The candidate will bring 10+ years of relevant experience, Arabic/English communication skills, and proficiency in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation and BIM tools to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with registration in SCE.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role/project.
• Experience in GCC projects and UAE-based work preferred.
• Strong writing, communication and client-facing skills.

Job Description Overview

The AtkinsRealis Infrastructure Business is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, self-starter to join our Dubai, UAE office as a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer to support infrastructure multi-disciplinary projects for clients in GCC, including planning, designing and engineering related to wet utilities networks which may be comprised of water, sewerage, storm, irrigation, firefighting, sewage collection systems, pumping stations, reservoirs etc.

Your role

• Technical assistance on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects delivery.
• Support single and multi-disciplinary discipline bids, with a clear focus on what is needed to win.
• Continue to build relationships with existing clients, securing repeat business and identifying additional business opportunities.
• Report on project performance.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ensure that a good Health & Safety culture is engendered within the team.
• Provide technical expertise on a variety of large engineering projects.
• Support designs and budgets and drive projects from tender to delivery in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Increase your networking profile with both internal and external clients.

About you

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with registration in SCE.
• The potential candidate has a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role/project.
• Is currently based in UAE and have a significant experience on GCC based projects.
• Additionally, the applicant should have experience with a combination of the following skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and strong technical writing and communications skills. Experience and familiarity with the following programs is a plus: ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Info Works, SWMM, Storm/Sewer/Water CAD, Revit/BIM experience.
