Job summary

Danube Group, a leading multinational conglomerate in the UAE, seeks a Senior QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality across high-rise construction. You will enforce UAE codes, conduct inspections, and mentor junior staff on ISO 9001 and QA/QC practices.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll drive improvements and ensure defect-free delivery in dense urban systems. Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, 10–12+ years of UAE QA/QC in large contractors, and certifications such as ISO 9001

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10–12+ years of QA/QC experience in large contracting firms within the UAE.
• Extensive experience on high-rise construction projects.
• Professional certifications such as QA/QC Engineer, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, civil works specifications, and safety standards.
• Proficiency with QA/QC software tools and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work on-site under demanding schedules and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection checklists for high-rise projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections, material testing, and workmanship audits to verify compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports to senior management.
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with UAE building codes, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead non-conformance investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring readiness for client and regulatory inspections.
• Mentor junior QA/QC staff and provide training on quality standards and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend best-practice enhancements.
