Job summary

Careers International is seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector for Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements on high-rise, residential, and villa projects.

The ideal candidate will conduct site inspections, coordinate with QA/QC Engineers and subcontractors, and maintain thorough inspection documentation and reports. UAE construction experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as QA/QC Inspector in construction projects.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, residential, and villa projects preferred.
• Good knowledge of civil construction inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, checklists, and inspection documentation.
• UAE construction experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor quality of civil, structural, and finishing works.
• Inspect materials, workmanship, and completed activities as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with QA/QC Engineers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Prepare inspection requests (IR), checklists, and quality reports.
• Verify that works are executed as per approved method statements and ITP requirements.
• Identify defects/non-conformities and report for corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation of inspection records and quality reports.
• Monitor testing activities and maintain quality records.
• Assist in maintaining project quality standards and handover documentation.
• Conduct routine site checks and ensure compliance with project specifications.
