Job summary

Nooralsahara in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to oversee the quality of civil, architectural and structural disciplines on roadworks and infrastructure projects. The role requires coordinating inspections, ensuring adherence to project specifications, and managing QA/QC documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, and strong analytical skills to drive high-quality outcomes on site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality across Civil, Architectural and Structural disciplines.
• Review QA/QC documents, certificates, test results, non-compliance reports and site instructions.
• Develop standards for inspections and tests; oversee testing methods.
• Coordinate with Consultant’s representative and site in-charge for inspections.
• Lead quality audits and manage material quality and procurement support.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality of all systems.

Job description

• Accountable for the quality andquality of every activity, precise knowledge of all aspects of engineeringconstruction relating to Civil, Architectural, and Structural disciplineinterfacing the multidisciplinary processes.
• Responsible for QA/QC documentsof the complete project, including certificates, calibration, testresults, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and siteinstruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and otherimportant QA/QC documents.
• Develop and determine allstandards to perform inspections and tests on all procedures, oversee alltesting methods, and maintain high-quality standards for all processes.
• Review the quality of allmaterials at the site, ensure compliance with all project specificationsand quality, and collaborate with the department for all materialprocurement and quality materials.
• Supervise the effectiveimplementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence toall procedures, and coordinate with various teams to perform qualityaudits on processes.
• Assist employees in ensuringknowledge of all quality standards, ensure compliance with all qualitymanuals and procedures, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers tomaintain the quality of all systems.
• Manage to lift all equipment,handle the efficient storage of all hazardous materials, and performquality audits per the required schedule.
• Monitor an efficient system,record all project activities, and analyse all processes to ensure allwork meets quality requirements.
• Manage all work methods,maintain knowledge of quality assurance standards, monitor continuousapplication for all quality assurance processes, and recommend correctiveactions for all operations.
• Develop a method statement forthe activity, including risk assessment, job safety environmentalanalysis, and Inspection.
• Test Plan and Checklist based onproject specifications.
• Liaise with the TechnicalEngineer for submission of material submittals to the Consultant.
• Coordinate with the Consultant’srepresentative and Site In-charge for Inspection.
