Job summary

Al Khayam Al Arabiah Tents & Shades LLC is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional to develop and implement quality plans for site works in the UAE. You will inspect materials and workmanship, review compliance with drawings and codes, and coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and consultants to ensure high standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in construction.
• UAE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures and checklists for site works.
• Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship and installation processes.
• Review and verify compliance with drawings, specifications and codes.
• Raise and track NCRs and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate ITPs with site engineers, subcontractors and consultants.
• Witness and document material testing (concrete, steel, welding) as applicable.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection records and reports.
• Liaise with third‑party inspection bodies, consultants and clients during audits.
• Support in obtaining approvals and sign‑offs at milestones.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring quality issues and recommend improvements.
• Ensure quality standards are upheld through project closeout and handover.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Assurance Quality Control plans procedures and checklists for site works
• Conduct regular inspections of materials workmanship and installation processes structural steel membrane fabric work foundations civil works
• Review and verify compliance with approved drawings specifications and international local codes and standards
• Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports NCRs and follow up on corrective actions
• Coordinate Inspection Test Plans ITPs with site engineers subcontractors and consultants
• Witness and document material testing concrete steel welding etc as applicable
• Prepare and maintain QA QC documentation inspection records and reports
• Liaise with third‑party inspection bodies consultants and clients during audits inspections
• Support in obtaining approvals and sign‑offs at project milestones
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring quality issues and recommend improvements
• Ensure quality standards are upheld through project closeout and handover

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 2-5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction (tensile structures, landscaping, or similar sectors is a plus)
• UAE experience preferred

Skills

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems, ISO standards, and construction quality procedures
• Familiarity with inspection tools, testing methods, and documentation systems
• Attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills
• Good communication and coordination skills (liaising across site teams, consultants, clients)
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with QA/QC software or ERP systems is a plus
