Senior Project Surveyor - Cost Management is a full‑time position based in Dubai, UAE, within the construction sector. The role involves quantity surveying, commercial controls, and project cost management for high‑value mixed‑use and infrastructure developments.
Salary: 20,000 - 28,000 AED per month.
The Senior Project Surveyor delivers full‑spectrum cost management services across multiple projects, maintaining strong client relationships and commercial performance. This position leads project teams, manages financial outcomes, and ensures all deliverables align with client expectations, internal quality standards, and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of multiple projects in line with client objectives and company standards
- Manage project services using Workbench and related systems for accurate reporting and commercial tracking
- Act as Project Manager for up to three active projects, controlling scope, schedule, and budget performance
- Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle and maintain strong professional relationships
- Ensure all scope changes and additional services receive proper client approval and contractual compliance
- Brief and guide project teams to ensure clear understanding of project scope, responsibilities, and delivery expectations
- Monitor and manage the performance of direct reports while supporting team development and mentoring
- Allocate resources effectively across major projects and smaller project portfolios within approved budgets
- Ensure timely cash collection according to contract terms and financial procedures
- Benchmark project data to support cost planning, budget forecasting, and value engineering opportunities
- Maintain accountability for project deliverables, commercial outcomes, and financial performance
- Ensure all deliverables comply with internal Project Delivery Standards and QA requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to stronger operational performance
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field
- Minimum 8 years of post‑graduate professional experience in quantity surveying and cost management
- MRICS qualification mandatory
- Strong experience managing mixed‑use, infrastructure, and commercial construction projects
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong commercial awareness with expertise in budget control, cost planning, and financial reporting
- Excellent client management, negotiation, and leadership skills
