Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Project Planning Specialist - Scheduling and Controls to guide capital project planning, scheduling and controls across ADNOC and its Group Companies. The role emphasizes establishing planning standards, strengthening reporting and improving project capability.

The position requires a minimum of 10 years in project planning with at least 4 years in an Expert/Technical Authority capacity, working on major oil & energy projects. On-site work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Engineering, Science, Project Management or a relevant discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience with national or international oil/energy projects.
• 4 years addressing technical discipline challenges in Expert/Principal/Technical Authority roles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Group's project planning program against targets, identify deviations and escalate material risks to the Head of Project Planning.
• Develop and maintain Group-specific planning policies, procedures and tools in line with ADNOC guidelines.
• Provide technical advice on planning and scheduling challenges faced by project teams.
• Verify dashboards and reports are complete and accessible to stakeholders.
• Highlight issues requiring management attention by Group Companies and shareholders.
• Participate in independent reviews and assurance activities to improve project value.
• Contribute to initiatives that strengthen capital project delivery and cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Support competency assessments and deployment guidance for planning personnel.
