Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead luxury mixed-use developments at our Abu Dhabi site. You will oversee delivery from construction through handover, coordinating main contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget, premium-quality outcomes.

The role requires 15+ years in construction/project management, hands-on site leadership, and strong knowledge of FIDIC, cost controls, and project methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in construction and project management.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale luxury mixed-use developments valued at AED 1 Billion+.
• Experience with main contractors, EPC contractors, or leading contracting companies.
• Experience managing luxury residential towers, hotels, retail destinations, and mixed-use communities.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, project controls, cost management, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• PMP certification and UAE/GCC project experience preferred.

Position Title: Senior Project Manager

Department: Projects Delivery / Site Based

Reporting To: Project Director / Executive Director Projects

Role Purpose

The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of large-scale luxury mixed-use developments from construction through handover. The role requires extensive site-based experience managing main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of large-scale mixed-use developments including luxury residential, hospitality, retail, commercial, and public realm assets.
• Manage all phases of construction from mobilization, execution, testing & commissioning, and project handover.
• Coordinate and supervise main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, progress, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, design intent, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
• Review contractor programs, construction methodologies, procurement plans, and progress reports.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage variation orders, claims, commercial matters, and contract administration activities.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, authority approvals, and final handover processes.
• Ensure delivery of luxury finishes and premium quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in construction and project management.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale luxury mixed-use developments valued at AED 1 Billion+.
• Strong background working with main contractors, EPC contractors, or leading contracting companies before moving into developer-side roles.
• Experience managing luxury residential towers, hotels, retail destinations, and mixed-use communities.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, project controls, cost management, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• PMP certification and UAE/GCC project experience are highly preferred.
