Job summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks an accomplished Project Director - Infrastructure to lead major infrastructure and masterplan development programmes across the UAE. This client-facing role requires a strong civil engineering background, senior leadership, and proven delivery of complex projects for public and private clients.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, governance, budget oversight, risk management, and stakeholder engagement with government authorities and developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field is desirable.
• Minimum 20+ years of professional experience in engineering consultancy, infrastructure delivery, or major development programmes.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary project teams on complex projects in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure and masterplan development projects across the UAE.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership from planning through to execution and close-out.
• Establish delivery strategies, governance, and performance objectives.
• Drive project performance regarding scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
