Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned PMC Senior Project Controls Manager to lead cost, schedule and control activities for major oil, gas and New Energies projects.

You will direct budgeting, reporting and performance reviews, coordinate with EPC contractors and ADNOC Offshore, and guide risk management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Global project teams and a strong track record in the Middle East are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 20 years’ relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction planning processes, planning tools, project management techniques.
• Knowledge of CTR and progress measurement processes.
• Experience working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage.
• Worldwide experience with Contractors and Vendors in construction of modules and onshore facilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement and ensure compliance with procedures and processes for Project Services & Controls.
• Proactively lead and direct the IPMT Business Team.
• Directs all project activities related to the preparation of the annual Business Plan and related budget in coordination with Project Support Manager.
• Serve as the focal point for general project assessments, evaluation and performance including ADNOC Offshore reviews and Independent Project Reviews.
• Maintain close liaison with project management team members (Engineering, Construction, Quality, SHE&S).
• Guide the development and implementation of project procedures and systems related to contracts, project controls, procurement, information management and financial reporting/accounting.
• Conduct briefing sessions for project team members with respect to project services requirements and processes with focus on Safety.
• Lead the risk management process for the team and ensure project issues/risk register is up to date.
