Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to oversee cost, schedule and performance across complex oil & gas projects in the UAE, including ADNOC frameworks. You will lead planning, reporting and risk management with a focus on governance, interfaces with engineering, procurement and construction teams, and proactive issue resolution.

Ideal candidate has 20+ years in oil & gas, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record delivering large projects on time

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in management or equivalent.
• Minimum 20+ years’ experience in oil & gas with project controls on large projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership, teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Ability to make independent judgments on quality issues.
• Experience with contractors and suppliers and managing interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Establish and ensure compliance with project services controls procedures.
• Direct annual business planning and budgeting with relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with ADNOC reviews and Independent Project Reviews.
• Prepare management reports and presentations with the IPMT team.
• Maintain liaison with engineering, construction, quality and SHE&S.
• Develop procedures for contracts, procurement and information management.
• Lead risk management and maintain up-to-date risk register.
• Ensure cost, schedule and procurement activities meet company guidelines and contracts.
• Oversee financial reporting, invoicing, and asset registers.
• Support project managers on contract administration and tender activities.
