Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited is seeking an experienced Sr. Production Engineer to oversee production and fabrication activities at our workshop in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will manage heavy steel structures, pressure vessels, process skids, and storage tanks, delivering projects safely, on time, and to quality standards. You will lead a team of 50+ shop personnel, coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, estimation and procurement, and ensure compliance with ASME, API, AWS codes as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–6 years of production/fabrication experience.
• Experience with heavy steel structures, pressure vessels, skids, and tanks.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, AWS codes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor fabrication and production activities based on project requirements and resources.
• Prepare job plans and production schedules considering manpower, materials, equipment, and capacity.
• Interpret and review fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, and project specs.
• Ensure fabrication activities comply with ASME, API, AWS, and project requirements.
• Oversee welding activities including TIG, MIG, SMAW, and SAW.
• Lead and guide 50+ workshop personnel, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Identify production issues, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor progress, productivity, resource utilization, and adherence to targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Estimation, Procurement, and other teams to ensure alignment.
