Job summary

ETHPE UK LTD in United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Production Engineer to plan, organize, and monitor daily fabrication and assembly of cable trays and related metal products. You will supervise cutting, bending, welding, and finishing processes, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to drawings.

The role requires strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), knowledge of GD&T, ERP familiarity, and proven leadership in a shop floor setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in cable tray, cable trunking, cable ladder, electrical enclosure or similar metal product manufacturing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
• Practical knowledge of CNC punching, press brake bending, shearing, cutting, welding and sheet metal forming processes.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, material specifications and fabrication tolerances.
• Understanding of production planning, quality control and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory control and production reporting is an advantage.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Good production planning and organizational abilities.
• Ability to lead and coordinate shop-floor teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and monitor daily production activities to achieve targets and delivery schedules.
• Supervise manufacturing processes for cable trays, trunking, ladders, brackets, supports and other metal fabricated products.
• Optimize manpower, machinery, raw materials and production resources.
• Coordinate with the production team to resolve manufacturing issues and bottlenecks.
• Read, interpret and prepare drawings and shop/fabrication drawings.
• Develop efficient production methods for various cable trays and related items.
• Oversee cutting, shearing, bending, welding and forming operations.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure machinery reliability and minimize downtime.
