Job summary

Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) seeks a Senior Product Specialist to provide clinical expertise and hands-on support for medical device lines in Dubai. You will work with sales teams and clinicians to drive product adoption and safe usage through on-site coverage, demonstrations, and training.

Required is a Biomedical Engineering/Life Sciences background with 2+ years in a similar role in the UAE/GCC, plus strong English communication for cross-functional collaboration with clinicians and sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a product specialist or application specialist in Endourology, Critical Care or Gynecology within the medical equipment industry, ideally within the UAE/GCC market.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site clinical support during procedures, case coverage, and product demonstrations.
• Ensure proper product usage, troubleshooting, and adherence to clinical best practices.
• Support clinicians with technical and clinical guidance before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and clinical understanding.
• Partner with sales teams to support account growth and achieve sales targets.
• Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and tenders as a clinical product expert.
• Support product evaluations, trials, and new account openings.
• Identify opportunities for product utilization and expansion within existing accounts.
• Deliver product training to healthcare professionals and exchange it with colleagues.
• Support workshops, in-services, and hands-on training sessions.
• Educate customers on product features, clinical benefits, and value proposition.
• Assist in onboarding and continuous development of sales team product knowledge.
• Build strong relationships with clinicians, nurses, technicians, and key stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted clinical partner and point of contact for assigned products.
• Gather voice-of-customer feedback to sales, marketing, sales and unit manager/s.
• Support key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical events when required.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support post-market surveillance, complaint handling, and vigilance reporting as needed.
• Assist with forecasting, inventory planning, and product availability coordination.

• Job Specific: Strong technical and product knowledge of the assigned category; strong presentation and training delivery skills.
• Generic Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to explain technical concepts clearly, and good verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
