Job summary

Azizi Developments is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer specialising in aluminium to lead end-to-end sourcing for raw materials, extrusions, and facade components.

You will develop sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers globally, and manage RFQs, POs, and procurement documentation to ensure timely delivery aligned with project schedules. Strong ERP skills and knowledge of international contracts are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in procurement with metals or aluminium focus.
• ERP experience with SAP or Oracle; contract knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project and manufacturing requirements.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
• Obtain competitive quotations, conduct commercial evaluations and negotiate pricing and payment terms.
• Prepare and manage RFQs, Purchase Orders, subcontract agreements and procurement documentation.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials in line with project schedules and production requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, lead times and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Projects, Production, Planning, QA/QC, Logistics and Finance teams.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and develop a reliable supplier base.
• Conduct market research and monitor aluminium material pricing and market trends.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approved budgets and quality standards.
• Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities without compromising quality or delivery.
