Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for aluminium glass and construction materials
- Source evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality pricing and delivery terms
- Prepare RFQs analyze quotations and issue Purchase Orders in accordance with company procurement procedures
- Coordinate with Engineering Production Projects and Stores teams to ensure timely procurement of materials
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance delivery schedules and material quality to ensure project requirements are met
- Track purchase orders and expedite deliveries to avoid project or production delays
- Maintain procurement records contracts vendor databases and purchasing documentation
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies contractual obligations and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within the Construction, Contracting, Aluminium, Glass or Façade industry in the GCC.
- Strong knowledge of aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, façade accessories and construction materials.
- Experience in supplier sourcing, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation and procurement planning.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of import/export procedures and logistics coordination is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- UAE Driving License is preferred.
