Job summary

ACTION International Services LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a Procurement Coordinator to support the procurement process, coordinate activities, and maintain strong supplier relationships. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders, strong negotiation skills, and hands-on experience with Oracle or SAP; fluency in English is essential, with additional languages a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience with construction background as Procurement Coordinator.
• Bachelor in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management or related field.
• Master in Business Administration and/or CIPS is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Arabic and/or Hindi are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end ACTION International Services procurement processes with best practice including RFQ, Bid evaluations, PO issuance and contract management
• Drive cost savings initiative and continuously improve efforts by reviewing spends across ACTION International Services and develops cost savings techniques for implementation.
• Research potential suppliers and qualify suppliers ensuring alignment with technical specifications and compliance standards
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project managers for early engagement and optimizing sourcing strategies
• Assess suppliers' proposals/quotations, analyze offers and prepare techno-commercial evaluations with strong negotiation tactics
• Negotiate contract terms and administer discount structures and rebates to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards
• Ensure Purchase orders are released on time and maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases
• Track orders status, manage delivery schedules to optimize value and mitigate risk on delivery and quality issues with suppliers
• Ensure on-time deliveries, follow-ups for delays and develop contingency plans
• Support internal and external audits ensuring adherence to procurement policies and procedures
• Understand basic shipping regulations and maintain supplier performance reviews
