Job summary

PACT Engineering FZC is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer with strong expertise in design and engineering of industrial and municipal water treatment, desalination, and wastewater treatment plants.

You will independently develop process designs, perform engineering calculations, and prepare technical documentation while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for EPC and packaged treatment plant projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• 8–10 years of direct water/wastewater treatment engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and engineering calculation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review PFDs and P&IDs and design basis documents.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, mass balances, and equipment sizing.
• Prepare equipment datasheets and technical specifications for pumps, vessels and dosing systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and respond to client technical queries.
• Support HAZOP, FAT, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
