PACT Engineering FZC seeks an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead design for water treatment, desalination, and wastewater projects. You will independently develop process designs, perform calculations, and prepare technical documentation while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for EPC and packaged treatment plants.

The role requires hands-on expertise in RO, UF, MMF, activated carbon filtration, greensand filtration, sludge treatment, and related chemical dosing and CIP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years of direct experience in water and wastewater treatment engineering.
• Strong knowledge of RO design, membrane systems, filtration, chemical dosing, and hydraulic calculations.
• Familiarity with relevant AWWA, ASTM, ASME, and international water treatment standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and engineering calculation tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), process descriptions, and design basis documents.
• Perform process calculations, hydraulic calculations, mass balances, and equipment sizing.
• Design and select water and wastewater treatment processes, including RO, UF, MMF, and related systems.
• Prepare equipment datasheets and technical specifications for pumps, vessels, filters, blowers, mixers, and chemical dosing systems.
• Prepare hydraulic profiles, pump head calculations, and control philosophies.
• Develop process control narratives, cause-and-effect matrices, and operating sequences.
• Review vendor offers, drawings, calculations, and equipment selections.
• Prepare technical bid evaluations (TBE) and vendor document review comments.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, and project teams.
• Review 3D models and equipment layouts for process compliance and accessibility.
• Respond to client technical comments, RFIs, and engineering clarification requests.
• Support HAZOP, design reviews, FAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance testing.
