Job summary

PACT Engineering FZC is seeking a Senior Process Engineer with strong expertise in designing industrial and municipal water treatment, desalination, and wastewater plants. You will independently develop process designs, perform calculations, and coordinate with engineering teams for EPC projects.

The role demands hands-on experience with RO, UF, MMF, filtration, and chemical dosing, plus proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel. Strong English communication and technical reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or closely related discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years of direct water and wastewater treatment engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of RO design, membrane systems, filtration and hydraulic calculations.
• Familiarity with AWWA, ASTM, ASME and international water treatment standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, process descriptions and design basis documents.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, mass balances and equipment sizing.
• Design water and wastewater treatment processes including RO, UF, MMF, filtration and chemical pretreatment.
• Prepare equipment datasheets and technical specifications for pumps, vessels, filters and dosing systems.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and support EPC/packaged plant projects.
