Job summary

PACT Engineering FZC is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer with deep expertise in designing industrial and municipal water treatment, desalination, and wastewater plants. The successful candidate will develop process designs, perform calculations, and prepare technical documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for EPC and packaged treatment plant projects.

Responsibilities include creating PFDs/P&IDs, performing hydraulic calculations, selecting treatment processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• 8–10 years of direct water and wastewater treatment engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and membrane design software such as WAVE or ROSA.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, process descriptions, and design basis documents.
• Perform process calculations, hydraulic calculations, mass balances, and equipment sizing.
• Design and select water and wastewater treatment processes (RO, UF, MMF, carbon filtration, coagulation, sludge treatment).
• Prepare equipment datasheets and technical specifications for pumps, vessels, filters, blowers, mixers, and chemical dosing systems.
• Prepare hydraulic profiles, pump head calculations, and control philosophies.
• Develop process control narratives, cause‑and‑effect matrices, and operating sequences.
