Job summary

PACT Engineering FZC seeks a Senior Process Engineer to independently design and engineer industrial and municipal water treatment, desalination, and wastewater plants. You will develop PFDs, P&IDs, process descriptions, and design basis documents, plus perform hydraulic and mass balance calculations.

You will coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and project teams, review vendor offers, and support HAZOP and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of direct water and wastewater treatment engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of RO design, membranes, filtration, chemical dosing, and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, process descriptions and design basis documents.
• Prepare equipment datasheets and technical specifications for pumps, vessels, filters, and dosing systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and respond to client technical comments and RFIs.
