Job summary

DES Capital in Dubai is seeking a Senior Private Banking Headhunter to lead exclusive searches for private banks, family offices and wealth managers across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar.

You will work closely with our Geneva team on every mandate, from the initial briefing with decision makers to the signed contract, supported by our platform, research network and fifteen years of private banking relationships.

Qualifications

• Established relationships with private banking decision makers in the region.
• Track record in headhunting, executive search or partnerships with measurable placements.
• Solid understanding of private banking and how bankers move a book.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with private banks, family offices and wealth managers across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar.
• Collaborate with Geneva directors on every mandate from first conversation to signed contract.
• Leverage our platform, research network and 15 years of private banking relationships to identify suitable candidates.
• Maintain discretion and professionalism in all dealings.

The role

You will be DES Capital's senior headhunter in Dubai. You will look after our relationships with private banks, family offices and independent wealth managers across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar: understanding where each institution wants to grow, which bankers and teams they are looking for, and bringing them the right people. You will work hand in hand with our directors in Geneva on every mandate, from the first conversation with a decision maker to the signed contract, and you will have the platform, the research and the candidate network of an established firm behind you.

What we are looking for

• Established, trusted relationships with private banking decision makers in the region: heads of private banking, CEOs, founders and heads of business development. People who take your call and value your judgement.
• A track record in private banking headhunting, executive search or business development, with placements, mandates or partnerships you can describe in detail and put a number on.
• A real understanding of the private banking business: how bankers build and move a book, what institutions look for, what makes a placement last.
• The standing to speak with senior bankers and executives as a peer, and the discretion this work demands.
• Excellent English. Arabic or French is a plus.
