Job summary

The role focuses on developing and managing HNW/UHNW client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading Private Banking strategy, cross-border wealth management and client experience across GCC and international markets.

Qualifications

• 12+ years' experience in Private Banking or related field.
• Experience across GCC and European/international markets.
• Proven track record of acquiring and managing HNW/UHNW relationships.
• Experience developing and executing Private Banking strategies.
• Strong knowledge of investment products and financial markets.
• CFA Level 1 and/or CISI Level 4 qualifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and grow HNW/UHNW client relationships, including sophisticated and high-profile client segments.
• Identify and acquire new business while maximizing client retention and share of wallet.
• Assess clients' investment objectives, risk profiles, liquidity requirements and return expectations.
• Work closely with Asset Management to develop and implement appropriate investment strategies.
• Advise across a broad range of investment solutions including equities, bonds, property, alternatives, private equity, hedge funds and structured products.
• Drive cross-selling and referrals across banking, lending, fiduciary and other specialist services.
• Contribute to Private Banking strategy, product development, marketing and new product launches.
• Lead and motivate Private Banking teams while maintaining a highly client-centric service culture.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Risk, Compliance, Credit, Product and Operations.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, risk, compliance and conduct requirements.
• Deliver measurable performance against revenue, profitability, business growth and client-related KPIs.

We are currently seeking an experienced Vice President – Private Banking Business Lead to join a leading banking group in the GCC.

This is a senior client-facing role focused on developing and managing HNW/UHNW relationships, driving business growth and delivering a comprehensive private banking proposition across banking, investment and wealth management services.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a portfolio of high-value clients, acting as a trusted point of contact and working closely with Asset Management and other specialist teams to deliver tailored solutions.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an established Private Banking / Wealth Management professional with:

• 12+ years' relevant experience in Private Banking or a closely related field.
• Strong exposure to GCC and European/international markets.
• A proven track record of acquiring and managing HNW/UHNW relationships and delivering business growth.
• Experience in cross-border wealth management and international Private Banking.
• Strong knowledge of investment products and financial markets.
• Experience developing and executing Private Banking strategies.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• A university degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline.

Professional Qualifications

CFA Level 1 and/or CISI Level 4 qualifications are highly desirable and will be viewed favourably.

Excellent English communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are essential, together with a strong understanding of the needs and expectations of UHNW clients.
