Job summary

HSBC Dubai is seeking a dynamic professional to lead HNI acquisition within Premier/Private/Wealth Banking. This role focuses on sourcing high-net-worth clients with USD 1M+ in funded assets and cross-selling relevant wealth products at onboarding.

You will build strong client relationships, work with wealth specialists, and leverage your network to generate New-to-Bank leads while aligning with HSBC's premier capabilities. A UAE graduation degree and visa readiness are required.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience in HNI Acquisition within Premier/Private/Wealth Banking.
• Proven track record of acquiring new-to-bank HNI relationships with USD 1M+.
• Lead generation through personal networks, referrals, and market connectivity.
• Strong commercial acumen and communication skills.
• UAE visa eligibility requires a degree; attestations if degree obtained outside UAE.

We are seeking a dynamic individual who can acquire quality funded Premier (balance based) customers for HSBC and cross sell relevant products to them at time of Premier onboarding. This requires the ability to build strong business relationships that will source these high value customers, and to understand in detail the benefits of the Premier proposition.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Acquire high net worth quality funded accounts with a minimum balance of USD 1M for HSBC and cross sell relevant products to them at time of Premier onboarding.
• Successfully articulate the value and benefits of specific products which best meet these high-net-worth customers’ needs, including Wealth (Insurance & Investment) solutions, credit solutions, etc. through successful referrals to the Premier Services / Relationship Management team.
• Collaborate with the Premier and wealth RMs to provide financial planning and advisory services aligning to HNW clients’ needs and investment profile
• Demonstrate strong ability to self-source, develop new business by actively prospecting for new HNW clients and referrals, and leveraging your existing network to generate New to Bank leads
• Working closely with other members of the Wealth Management team, such as investment, insurance, treasury specialists to provide holistic solutions to our High-Net-Worth premier clients
• Maintain strong relationship with key stakeholders within the wider Premier & wealth teams to ensure there is a seamless transfer of the customer relationship once fully established.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• In-depth experience in HNI Acquisition within Premier/Private/Wealth Banking
• Demonstrated track record of acquiring new-to-bank HNI relationships with USD 1M+ in funded assets.
• Strong experience in pure acquisition roles, not limited to portfolio servicing.
• Proven ability to generate leads independently through strong personal networks, referrals, and market connectivity.
• Strong commercial acumen, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation skills, outgoing disposition, well-equipped with good communication and interpersonal skills
• A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE).
