Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Senior Engineer or A&R for Maintenance Operations & Readiness on an ADNOC project in Abu Dhabi. The role is based full time at the client office in Abu Dhabi and requires extensive offshore maintenance expertise and readiness planning.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in oil & gas maintenance, offshore operations experience, and ADNOC/EPC familiarity. Strong knowledge of RCFA, FMEA, RBI and SAP PM is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years in oil & gas maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years in offshore operations.
• Experience with ADNOC, major EPC contractors, or international oil companies is preferred.
• Proven experience in operations readiness, commissioning, maintenance planning, and asset management.
• Strong knowledge of offshore production facilities including rotating, static, electrical, instrumentation and control systems, safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Maintenance Readiness Plans for offshore facilities.
• Review engineering deliverables for maintainability and reliability.
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Prepare SAP PM/CMMS data: equipment, functional locations, BOM, task lists.
• Review equipment criticality and perform RCFA, FMEA, and RBM.
• Coordinate with Engineering, EPC contractors, Operations, Commissioning, and Vendors during project execution.
• Verify spare parts strategy, warehouse readiness, and critical spare availability.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, Mechanical Completion and Commissioning activities.
• Lead maintenance input during Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for major equipment failures.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs including Equipment Availability, MTBF, MTTR, PM Compliance, Maintenance Backlog, Reliability Index.
